Please carefully review these important "Rules and Terms of Booking." ○ Minimum booking age - 23 years old ○ Maximum occupancy is 12 ○ All guests must sign "Desert Hot Springs Rental Regulations Form," per City Law and Vacation Rental Agreement (Guest Form and Rental Agreement Form). ○ A valid email address is required to book a reservation. ○ Copy of Government ID Required (City Law). Additional rules ○ Damages - report all damages within 2 hours of your arrival. ○ Parking - Max 4 vehicles. Use the garage and driveway. No street parking allowed. ○ No smoking/vaping/drugs allowed inside the house. ○ Additional cleaning available during the stay at an extra $250 charge. Need to be requested few days in advance. ○ Leaving a firearm behind will result in a charge of $150 per hour to facilitate its proper handling and return to law enforcement. Check in: ○ Regular check-in time is 4 pm & check out time is 10 am ○ Early check-in or late check-out may be offered during off seasons (if available) ○ Not offered during high season and during events and holidays. ○ Call a day before for availability ○ Early Check-in $50 p/hour (as early as 11:00 AM) ○ Late Checkout $50 p/hour (as late as 3:00 PM) IMPORTANT: The specified Check-in/Check-out times and associated Early Check-In/Late Check-Out Fees outlined in this listing take precedence over the House Rules/Agreement signed by the guest. Noise: ○ Music is allowed outside until 10:00 PM ○ Small portable speakers are permitted; however, large speakers, DJ equipment, and karaoke machines are not allowed outdoors. If a police officer is called due to violation of these rules, it will be your responsibility to pay the fine. ○ If sound decibels exceed a certain threshold guest may be contacted. ○ We do not service local bookings within 20 mile radius to avoid loud parties. Swimming pool/spa: ○ Caution: The pool is less than 6' feet deep & has no safety fencing ○ Pool hours: Please consider moving indoors after 10:00 pm. ○ ○ Pool/spa heating fee is $150 p/day and it is for the duration of your stay. We do require a 2-day minimum for pool heating. ○ Due to increased high gas cost all bookings have additional $50 per day cost for spa heating (if pool heating is requested then spa heating will be waived) ○ Please swim at your own risk and never swim alone. ○ If you are sick, pregnant, or have any health issues, we ask that you do not use the pool or hot tub as safety is our primary concern. ○ No diving is allowed as serious injury, paralyzation, or death may occur from diving. ○ By renting our home or being a guest of the renter you absolve us, the owners, of any and all liability due to injury or death. ○ Pool is cleaned 2x per week on Mondays and Fridays. We use chlorine for sanitation. Safety: ○ The home may not be safe for children under 8 as we have no safety gate surrounding the pool, and we have BBQ Grill and a gas fire pit. ○ Children should not be left unattended ○ Children must have adult supervision at all times around the pool area ○ All guests must be good swimmers. Pets:○ Only 1 dog allowed at $150 extra charge per dog (maximum 1 dog allowed unless other arrangements are made.) ○ Only small dogs under 15 lbs are allowed. ○ Dog(s) must be treated for fleas and ticks prior to arrival. ○ Guests must pick up after their dog. ○ No dog is allowed on the furniture and all dog hair must be cleaned up prior to departure. ○ Guests are required to disclose if they will be brining dogs prior to checking in as we have to organize a special cleaning after your check out. ○ We welcome trained service animals as required by law. If you are traveling with multiple service dogs, please let us know in advance so we can ensure the best accommodation for your stay. Charcoal Grill: ○ Guests are responsible for their own charcoal. ○ If there is extra charcoal at the home, you may use it for barbecuing. ○ Please be careful and do not use the grill within 10 feet of the home. Trash: ○ Guests must dispose of the trash in the bins. ○ Garbage cannot be placed outside or in other garbage cans throughout the neighborhood. Eviction clause : ○ Eviction with no refunds if guests receive a citation from the City. ADDITIONAL RULES: ○ All rules outlined on the booking website shall be enforced, taking precedence over any signed contract, due to necessary fundamental modifications to the property details on the booking site. ○ Rules may state house has a crib, however house does not have a regular crib but a Pack ‘N Plays. ○ If you open it, close it; if you borrow it, return it; if you turn it on, turn it off; if you break it, fix it; if you use it, take care of it; if you make a mess, clean it up; if you move it, put it back By renting our home, being a guest of the renter you absolve us, the owners, of liability due to injury or death. ADDITIONAL RULES FOR LONG TERM RENTALS of 28 DAYS OR MORE: If a long term renter (with booking 28 days and more) then renter must go through the following steps after confirmed booking: ○ Tenant screening for credit & background check after booking ○ A Separate Long Term Rental Agreement shall be completed after the booking. ○ Additional deposit of $1000 must be paid with the Long Term Rental Agreement. Booking can be canceled if: ○ credit check is refused ○ credit screening outcome credentials are not satisfactory to the host ○ rental agreement is not completed and deposit based on the rental agreement is not paid ○ the requested documents are not completed within 24-72 after booking confirmation. NOTE: No property access shall be granted without having THE above mentioned documents completed and approved.
