Important Notes (Please Read Before Booking) ⚠️ Fireplace in living room is non-functional for Display only! 📷 There are 3 security cameras in the property: 1 on the Front Door, 1 on the Driveway and 1 on the backyard. All of them are recording 24/7 for security purposes. There is 1 noise monitor installed. It is required by City of Bermuda Dunes. 🏠 Local Compliance: This property has special local compliance requirements, including a signed rental agreement, ID verification, and a $1,500 security hold (not a traditional deposit, just a pending transaction). 🛡️ Damage Waiver (Optional): Up to 10 nights: $59 11–20 nights: $59 + $4/night over 10 nights Over 20 nights: $200 + $4/night over 20 nights We make this process easy using Happy Guest, a secure, app-free platform. No account signup is needed, and it gives you a guest portal with all home info and my favorite local spots. POOL SAFETY INFORMATIION • Please note that our pool does not have a safety fence and diving is strictly prohibited. • While we welcome families, our property is not fully childproof. There is no safety gate around the pool, and the backyard includes features such as steps, a gas fire pit, electrical cords, and outlets. • Floatation devices (floaties) are considered personal items and are not provided. Occasionally, guests may leave floaties behind—you are welcome to use them at your own discretion and risk. • All guests should be confident swimmers and acknowledge the potential risks when booking. Children and pets must be supervised at all times. Swimming is at your own risk, and never swim alone. • If you are ill, pregnant, or have any health concerns, we advise not using the pool or hot tub, as your safety is our top priority. • No diving is allowed under any circumstances. Diving may result in serious injury, including spinal cord damage or death. By staying at our home, you acknowledge and accept these conditions and release the homeowners from liability for any injury or accident, including death, that may occur during your stay. YARD AND POOL MAINTENANCE AND DESERT WEATHER • Gardener visits once a week to keep the outdoor areas looking their best. • Pool is professionally cleaned twice a week on alternating weekdays (Monday–Friday), usually in the morning. • While desert weather is usually sunny and clear, occasional wind gusts can stir up dust or debris. We schedule extra cleanings after major windstorms, but you may still notice some leaves or sand at times. Pool skimmer is available for your use, and if anything needs attention, please don’t hesitate to reach out—we’re happy to help ensure your stay is as enjoyable as possible! PET POLICY • Dogs welcome! $150 flat pet fee applies for a small, non-aggressive, house-trained dog under 15 lbs. Maximum of 2 dogs. No other pets allowed. • Dog(s) are not allowed in the pool as pet hair clogs the filters • Dog(s) are not allowed on the furniture or in beds
